IMPORTANT! From 1 January 2023. drivers without a first aid kit that has been updated may face a fine of ten to twelve euros (according to Article 417, paragraph 7). It is also important to have a new composition first aid kit during the vehicle technical inspection (TA). If the first aid kit for the vehicle is not properly assembled or lacks all necessary components, a "minor deficiency" is recorded. This does not cause significant obstacles to obtaining a positive inspection result (if there are no other technical deficiencies), and drivers can legally participate as traffic participants. However, the vehicle owner or operator is obliged to promptly eliminate this deficiency – there is no need to return to the TA station.
The need to update the first aid kit arose considering that its composition has not changed for 18 years, while the principles of first aid have changed over that time.
New composition APPROVED by LR SAM on December 10, 2020, order No. V-2876.
The validity of this set is until February 2027.
