Purpose

The tourniquet is designed to stop severe bleeding in the arms or legs. It is only effective if the person knows how to use it, so we recommend that at least some employees have completed first aid training. Militra conducts such training.

The composition of the kit complies with the description of the First Aid Kit approved by the Minister of Health on July 11, 2003, order No. V-450 (as amended by order No. V-2876 on December 10, 2020).

Who is required to have a first aid kit

According to point 1 of the First Aid Kit description, the kit must be present in all institutions and companies. The exception is institutions subject to a separate description of the first aid kit for healthcare institutions.
Point 3 allows the company or institution, depending on the nature of the activity, to supplement the kit with other tools.
According to the manufacturer Citreum, the kits comply with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 on medical devices, and the first aid supplies are registered in the EUDAMED system.
